Update
Half a month since my last entry. Man one month and i'm home for 3 weeks! This semester is going by so fast its unbelievable. Feels like I just got here.
It's been real busy. The long weekend was nice, but didn't get anything done with Tamas here. He didn't have school Mon-Wed and I had Mon and Tues off school.
We had a good time. Felt like tourists, we visited the conservatory,--4 glass pyramid greenhouses each with a different ecosystem. Arid desert, tropical rainforest, temperate, and the last just had flowers. It was neat, not exactly as I expected though. The temperature in the tropical and desert sure wasn't tropical, just about 20 C.
We also Went to West Edmonton Mall about 3 times, and saw the new movie "American Gangster",starring Russel Crowe and Denzel Washington. It's based on a true story. Russel Crowe did such a good job playing an honest New York Cop in a city of corruption. I really enjoyed the movie.
Tamas got here Saturday morning, and left Wednesday afternoon. It was hard cause a group project I have was due yesterday,...so my group was doing last minute editing on it that I had to be a part of. So I had to go work on it for 4 hours on Tuesday afternoon. Also had a lab due Wednesday but I asked for an extention and got it. A food microbiology assignment was also due yesterday. So I didn't have much fun from the time Tamas left until last night. I went with Tamas to the airport, then came home and did the 'works cited' referencing for our report with this guy in our group at his house from 5:30 - 1:30 in the morning! Came home and did finishing touches on the report until 330 am, which I shouldn't have cause I had an assignement due at 9:30, which I ended up skipping class to do because I fell asleep at 3:30. Went to class then came home and finished the lab reports until 5 when they were due.
So glad its Friday!!!
