Music soothes the soul
I swear she's a little ham or something? Earlier yesterday afternoon, Stickboy was tinkering with one of his computers (I think he was originally updating the drivers) while listening to some music (on random play) when the baby spotted him.
As she made her way with that "ooh there's Daddy" look on her face, Iron Maiden's Run To The Hills had just started, no sooner did he pick her up she started "dancing" on his leg along with the music. *heh* Then there was Dio's "Rainbow In The Dark", still more dancing, this time her legs were swinging in time with the music. After a few more songs by Ozzy and Black Sabbath (which she enjoyed), there was a Metallica song I think it was The Unforgiven, I was putting around the house to really notice, but I did happen to see her face - it was "you've got to be kidding me" kinda look. Which tells me Little Samwise do not like Metallica.
So now, I have a Heavy Metal Princess. Sure, she still claps and leg dance when she listens to Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Great Big Sea, but this is something new and quite frankly kinda cute. She is after all only 1 year old.
Aren't little kids funny.
