I'm being chased by turtles.....
...well at least I am in my dreams. *heh*
No I haven't lost my mind, 'cos I lost that years ago :P Seriously, I've been working on a terracotta bowl as a gift for my father-in-law for a little over 2 months now over at the Clay Cafe. I'm almost finished it (pics under cut). I had originally planned on scraping them all, but I decided I was only going to scrape the bottom turtle to expose the terracotta. The rest will be outlined in black paint because to scrape the others would be insane.
In total there are 9 turtles drawn all free-handed and painted with 6 layers of paint.

Once I've finished it (and fired) I'll take another pic and post the finished product. funny thing.. since finishing the painting the turtles, I've had a dream that I'm being chased by a pack of turtles *lol* sure.... it's a slow chase, but hey what can I say :P
