Well, I've been pretty much keeping out of trouble and to my self lately. There really isn't much going on around the house other than the normal everyday regime - kids off to school, me in the basement, trying to get ready for Christmas, etc. Until later this afternoon, that is....
I was just about to get ready to take a trip down to the PO when the phone rang. I'm thinking it's those telemarketers, but instead it was the IWK (the Children's hospital) informing me that they have an opening for Willy's dental surgery. So I quickly go and grab a crayon (of all things - a house full of kids and I can't find a pen) - anywhoo... the receptionist informs me the appointment is tomorrow morning @ 1130hrs, but I have to be there for 1000hrs for registration and preop. On one hand, I'm thinking great I finally have a time to have his teeth fixed - something that our current dentist was supposed to do back this past January, but didn't *the smuck* but once it sank in a few seconds later, the time/date was only the next day.
After I hung up the phone, I quickly wrote the time down and started getting Willy's things ready for tomorrow ...more like later this morning. Hopefully, he won't get sick like Sharon did (this past July), after her dental work *crosses fingers and toes* boy was that a nightmare. Poor girl was sedated for her procedure, but once the sedation wore off and no sooner when she got home I had a mess to clean up *make mental note: no chocolate pudding or scrambled eggs for the boy. Once things started to settle down and she was relaxed (or so I thought) it was a roller-coaster of emotions - it seemed every three minutes Sharon's emotional state changed. *facepalm* Here's hoping Bilbo isn't like that *double crosses fingers and toes*.
Also, I'm hoping this will improve his appetite a little more (not that there was much of a problem with his eating), considering there won't be two gaping holes that should've been fixed almost a year ago.
