ok lets see its been about a month since my last update and as such i feel the need to update you all on my life. Despite it being Aug. 6th (happy birthday kirsten) preseason NFL has already started. Too bad its all meaningless.
Lets see so today I went shopping to take advantage of that whole "no sales tax weekend" deal they had going on in VA. I ran into Matt Giordanno at kohls, it was good to see him again but weird to talk to someone after a year of silence. I bought some new clothes, my mom complained that they were "too brown". O well i guess i like brown. Not much else happened today, I didn't have to work at wasnt with lauren so i just sat on m kiester( is that spelled right?). Friday Night i hung out with jonathan and eric, watched "Lost Boys", a good eighty's flick. However I realzed that for me and my friends to watch a movie it ussally takes 30 min of desiding which to watch, which although i seems tiresome the arguments on such things as why diehard sucks or why 3 guys shouldnt sit around on a friday night and watch "gone with the wind" is funny as hell.
O and shiela has been giving me trouble recently. Shiela is my car, a 2003 Nissan Altima. I love her, yes i named my car( she was the lady in the tank. She was my friend). I hit 41K on her last week, and i had to spend $100 on AAA to get a new battery brought to me when my car wouldnt start. Its not like when you leave the lights on and the engine wont catch i just turned the key and nothing happened. at all just silence. So i was late to work that day. I also had to spend $50 getting an oil change and a new air filter today so im kinda pissed. The passanger door is still sticky too, im afraid to take it to get it fixed it will probably cost an arm and a leg.
On to work, its alright. I still don't like it. The heat index hit above 110 last week, and when your in a large warehouse, or worse in the back of a truck its easily 140. It doesnt help when your carrying 150lbs of steel door or a big ass staircase either. I always assumed that they built stairways at the house but no the ship it prebuilt. Luckily roper's business has been sagging lately which means that we have less to load which makes it easier than it could be. I only have 5 days left and i'm really looking forward to it, ill probably have $1800 from this job which isn't to bad for the summer. Also funny thing they fired me a few weeks ago, they were making layoffs due to poor sales and I was new and going to be leaving soon so they "let me go". They next morning however they called and hired me back. My guess is they were inspired by my hard work and dedication, or remembered that my dad golfs with the CEO.... one of those.
I still really like lauren and everything, so as far as i'm concerned things are great there, i just wish i could see her more often. Well only a week and two days till i move in at the Mill 17L WOOHOO! I'm sad about leaving again but it will be great to be back.
