(no subject)
so, despite the fact i have neglected this for a while (cant remember how long) i have decided to pass the time by writing a random blog of crap. whilst waiting for my dear jake to email me back, i moan he takes too long to reply. but i cant push him too far, i dont want him to get fired for emailing me instead of doing work!
so a quick round up of my holiday for you all:
After a long, very long flight from london heathrow to darwin via singapore (with the coolest barman of all time!) i collected my bag to meet a very tired mother who got up at 2.45am to meet me from the airport, my dad stayed in bed, git.
played the tourist in darwin for a couple of days and lapped up the sunshine.
off to Litchfield national park. not hugely amazing, being in the middle of the outback n'all.
back to darwin for one day. met some scottish people at youth hostel, lovely bless em. went on a bush walk, met a snake, nearly gave me a heart attack and vowed never to go walking in the bush again.
off on the Ghan down to alice springs via katherine. met another cool barman called josh.
2days in alice springs, cold VERY cold. im talking -1! went straight to the english bar, finally got me a pint of trampjuice :-)
went to a joey rescue centre, met my little jimmy, he was 5months old and i was allowed to cuddle him and he was licking my nose. i wanted to take him home.
on to brisbane much much warmer v.happy :-) met big bunch of really cool people, we got shoved together because theres only one smoking area at the youth hostel as smoking inside anywhere and most outside places in oz is no illegal.
went a lone pine koala sanctuary, did the typical cuddle a koala thing. fed roos but none are as cute as jimmy.
came to sydney, climbed the harbour bridge AMAZING, nothing can compare to that. did the blue mountains, cool but have done before so nothing new.
and now im here.
and in this time i have recieved and replied to two emails so now i have to wait again. never mind!
