We carved pumpkins while drinking hot chocolate with marshmallows and listening to October Project. We needed the hot chocolate, because it is fucking cold here. While we were at the farm stand buying our pumpkins, it started snowing! Sheesh.

Mr WG burned the pumpkin seeds we tried to roast a couple of weeks ago, and today I burned the pumpkin that I was cooking in prep for making pumpkin pancakes on Monday morning. I don't think we are destined to cook pumpkin.

We got three pumpkins yesterday and the hubby and kidlets are busy carving as I type. Looks great :)

very cool! I've never actually managed to carve a pumpkin - I've *tried* once or twice, but have always been defeated by the fact their flesh appears to be MADE OF IRON.
