New Notice for Wesley/Riker Mini Bang for Artists!
All the entries to the mini bang have now been claimed by artists. Because, as you may have noticed, we have more artists than writers, it means that one fic has two artists claiming them. Which is fine with us.
However, we have decided, in the need to be fair, that we will offer the choice for an artist to claim one of the other two fics so that each story had two artists. There is no need for anyone to feel they need to take on another as we realise that doing art for one story may be enough work for you already. Just know that the option is there.
On that note, given this could go on for a while if suddenly everyone decides they want to do art for two stories, and we refuse to keep offering the store up until they all have an equal amount of artists, this also means that it's first come first served. Two stories are available to be claimed. Once it's been claimed, no one else can claim it. Good? Sorry if that causes any upset with anyone.
So, with that being said, the two stories being offered up to be claimed for a second time are:
Title: Song of Captivity and Freedom
Current Word Count: Around 5k. Incomplete
Rating: NC-17
Warnings: PTSD; slavery (though Will tries his best to be a "good" owner it's still slavery and the story includes instances of other people treating Wesley like he's an object); memories of war, violence, torture, death; kind of character death (aka he dies and comes back to life); dark!fic
Summary:
Returned from years fighting in a war against creatures that once made humans believe they were allies Will finds himself unable to fit back into civilian life. Plagued by nightmares and the memory of what he did and what was done to him the wounds that send him home aren't the only things that won't heal completely.
On a hunting trip he goes on to appease his worrying friends he catches an angel. Since humans broke their alliance with the angels decades before they have become priced possessions for those who were able to either catch one or buy one.
Suddenly responsible for another being Will has to take the first step on the long journey to recovery if he doesn't want to leave Wesley to a cruel fate.

Summary: Reaper AU. Wesley is a reaper and he has to claim Will's soul, but not for a week. For the first time in a very long time Wesley actually feels something. Is an eternity of pain worth the one week of happiness?
