I'm Screwed-ish

May 09, 2009 01:52

Instead of being the responsible transferee I'm supposed to be, I have become lax after the initial results for the TDT came out. Unfortunately, having my name on that sweet, sweet list isn't going to get any of my paperwork done, so I manned up and went to my physical examination. After that, I just focused on the sweet littl retreat to Bacolod I had planned. While hanging around doing nothing but harm my health, I forgot about:
  1. Fixing my clearance in order to get that form that says I'm leaving CSB for good. (Honorable dismissal, or something like that)
  2. Finding a dorm/condo
I passed by CSB this afternoon to file for my honorable dismissal thing thinking it would be a simple process. Unfortunately, it was not. I had worn the worst shoes possible for errand-running and I found myself sweaty and pissed off at my feet and and pissed off at people who stuck to their SOPs, making my life more miserable by delaying EVERYTHING. I could have forged the signature they so required (I love easily forgable mom signatures), but I decided to head over to my friend's Rockband party instead. Now I have to go back there to CSB the Land of Regrets on Monday, which is when my form will actually be filed, and then I would have to wait for "five working days" until I get it. I'm thinking of playing the My Mom Is A Scary Bitch card and get them moving so I can get it earlier since the College of Fine Arts is releasing the University Admission Slips the very same Monday. Gurrr.

The condo sitch is a lot more complicated. I really don't have an excuse for not going to the North when I have a car and a driver ready to bring me there. I guess the rainy weather has just been too tempting and it's become near impossible to get out of bed when all I can think of is how cold the sheets feel while the storm's going crazy with the wind and the wet...nessssss.

I promise to do the following by next week!
  1. Get my clearance fixed with CSB
  2. Get my Admission Slip
  3. Look for condos/dorms in the price range and close-enough-to-UP-ness
  4. Get PC fixed
  5. Find money for possible cheap-ass-laptop-investment (Anyone knows anyone selling second-hand laptops?)

up, laziness, csb
