I'm too excited
I'm too excited about too many things right now!
...
Okay, maybe just two things.
For the past five days, I've probably been the only person in college who has been eagerly counting down the days until summer ends. Mostly because I am dying to start my dorm + UP adventure, and finally see for myself what my brain and not-so-Zen patience can do out in The Wild. I want to swim in charcoal and breathe a blend of oxygen and isaw smoke. I want to drug myself with Bonamin as I take the Ikot. I want to stay up all night doing plates, finishing plates, and rocking them damn plates, while proving to the world that I can WORK IT. I am excited to actually live the dream, you know? I'm also partly wishing that I'd fall asleep only to wake up having all of my paperwork fixed. I still have to go dorm hunting, which, in its own right, is exciting, and I have to get my transcript from CSB and submit all that Shiznat to UP, which, in its own right, is boring.
So while I've been expecting a summer full of sitting in the car, getting out of the car, sitting in line, getting in the car, sitting in the car, in between intervals of playing Zelda, my friend Pat throws an Inasal-flavored curve ball at me and NOW we're getting ready to go to the place where diets go to die.
With all the excitement this summer and school year promises, I'm starting to feel like 2008 was the build up to the punchline.
There will be food, drinks, and plenty of Awesome to go around. This trip, though short, will definitely make waiting for June a lot easier. :)
