There were lights beneath the surface that made it shimmer and gleam, and around the edge, a stunning array of fascinating plants with vivid blossoms and huge leaves.
But she was not alone. There were spirits in the air, murmuring quietly, the very air tinged with their discontent. And she could see the young woman crouched at the edge of the pool, listening intently.
"Do you hear them too?"

Amber was somewhat used to the weirdness of the place now (and it wasn't a terrible suit), so she'd tracked down the pool. (After several hours of avoiding the subject, anyway.)
The whispers had started in the locker room, and didn't respond to hissing, growling, or shouting. Or throwing things. Or kicking lockers.
Storming out to the actual pool area, she stopped short when she saw Rachel.

The damp and dripping room was full of shadows though...and a heavy sense of waiting.

She shuffles closer, senses on edge now, too.

She could always feel Pack when they were near.
Too loud and the guards would hear though. Hounds weren't suppose to speak. ::Shhhhh:: she sent softly to girl behind, never taking her eyes off what she was seeing. Like shadows, sometimes a telpath's memories were more real rather than less.
