In the corridors of the Citadel.

She'd been headed for her secret garden in the upper reaches, but somewhere, she'd gotten turned around.  The corridors were no longer smooth sandstone, but were covered in some kind of paper.  It appeared to have coloured moss growing on it.  She trailed her fingers over the patterns.  Leaves, vines, little winged insects.  No, this was some kind of fabric.  How very odd.

She kept wandering down the corridor, passing room after room.  The doors were made of polished wood with brass handles, and each had a shiny brass number on the door.   "Where is this place?" she murmurs to herself, noticing the thick luxurious rugs beneath her feet.

Eventually the corridor emerges into a small room with marble floors and four recessed doors.  She watches in amazement as one of the doors slides into the frame to reveal another, smaller room.    She steps in and reads the numbered discs on the wall.   The letter L is blinking.

She presses it and watches wide eyed as the door closes.  A tiny gasp slips her lips as the tiny room lurches and descends.  "Oh it's a conveyance! Oh yes, I see now." She would have to remember to write this down later.

The room comes to a halt and she hears a small bell sound overhead.  She looks up to see a dial with an arrow, pointing to the word Lobby.  The door slides into the frame and Khephera peers out into the Lobby.
