She was hungry.
It's cold tonight, in Perivale. She stayed with her mates as long as she could, but Shreela was out of down, and Annie's mum... was Annie's mum. She didn't want to go home... and then, when trying to actually go home, found she'd been locked out, and no amount of leaning on the doorbell helped.
And it's really cold.
The youth centre is closed too - there's a chain and padlock on the door, and since she wants to be able to go in tomorrow, she doesn't dare break a window and let herself in.
Finally, she just... picks a doorway. It's downtown, so she'll most likely be hauled in by the police at some point or other, but without her mates (or even her lighter), she doesn't feel much like camping out tonight on the hills without her mates.
