BIG THROWDOWN/GRAND FINALE ~ GET YOUR ZOMBIE STOMPING DONE HERE!
Rachel was still wearing the robe she'd found on the desert floor. The hood was actually pretty useful for keeping ash and zombie bits out of her hair and mouth. This last floor had been pretty quiet actually, just a few shambling corpses before she found the switch...
...then she found the stairs. Or rather, the ladder up. She could feel sky not to far above her her, so that meant, hopefully, that this zombie business was almost done.
The steps creaked ominously under her weight, and it was dark as a cave in the attic, but the first thing to hit her was the smell. It was far worse than anything she'd encountered before. Things were dead up ahead and they smelled it! With a grumble, Rachel let foxfire crawl up along the rafters, lighting up the room.

There were big ones and little ones, dry ones and wet ones, stitched together ones and disintegrating ones, all of them milling around. They were crawling over each other, dancing, walking in circles, chasing each other...all as far as the eye could see. This room was huge, at least as large as a football stadium! The ladder put her out on a small stage, so at least she wasn't in danger of being stepped on!
"Oh...boy." This floor, obviously, wasn't going to be that easy.
