Dorothee doesn't bother answering... audibly, anyway. Instead she levels her staser in his direction and begins shooting. If her stance is any indication, she was once trained by the military (of somewhere, anyway).
If her aim is any indication, that military had better hope she's still employed by them.
"Mostly, zombies, looks like." Ace replies, very honestly. "Along with their little zombie doggies."
Evidently some of those zombie dogs from 'I am Legend' have made it through - Dorothee puts them down before they can do more than be threatening in the distance.
"Clearly y'boyfriend really doesn't want to do paperwork." Dorothee manages not to roll her eyes again. Yes, she has the gun. She also has the groceries. This does not give her deep insights into the ways of zombie hordes.

...it gets the attention of someone who seems to be beneath a small horde of zombies nearby.
"CAN YOU SHOOT THEM OFF OF ME?"
He didn't seem particularly bothered about being shot or about being covered in zombies other than wanting to get out.

Colt set his paperwork on fire at least once a week. The man was smart, which made him good at his job, but patience? Not so much.
