Daily dose of Wes Ide

So today I called EA Sports back and explained my situation to them, 100% honesty.  I told them I'd much rather work for them but didn't want to just abandon this job and wouldn't be available until 4 weeks.  They took down my info and said theyd call me back in 4 weeks.  I seriously doubt they will, but I'll follow up on it when the time comes.  Another factor is that they gave me a football quiz over the phone and I missed some questions (I'd be testing Madden 2006).

Also, I received notice that Universal Studios is hiring someone that does what I do.  AND turns out that the woman I sent 3D samples wants to interview me tomorrow morning, which I told her I could not do, but she didn't seem to understand and said "Well call me tomorrow morning if you can make it."  I figure I'll write her an email in the morning explaining my situation as well.  All I can do is be honest, and tell those that keep expressing interest in me that I am not available until the end of this month.  I don't expect them to sit around and wait for me, but it's better than ignoring opportunities or being deceitful.

Hmm... not much else going on right now.  I'm about to watch some TNA Wrestling I downloaded... Oh, I saw Constantine... I know it's a hot movie right now and people are digging it, and I thought I would, too.  Nope.  Didn't like it.  Too much meaningless BS, too much religious fiction presented as fact, too much unexplained nonsensical shit.  I imght have enjoyed it if I wasn't as knowledgable about the Bible and Catholic doctrine, but there was a movie that dealt with something similar to this premise that came out about 7 years ago, and it was much, much better, especially visually (which is sad when you consider the technological advances since then).  It was called What Dreams May Come.  You should see it.

Oh yeah, saw 24 and Raw this past week.  24 was better than last week, and Raw was... alright.  Point Pleasant didnt fucking air last Thurs night and was replaced by an hour long special about stars not wearing makeup.  And rumor has it that this week's episode is a repeat of the pilot.  So I'm hoping the show wasn't pulled or canceled, because I really dig it.  Fox has a habit of fucking over fans of their new sci-fi shows.  I still miss John Doe.

That's about it that's on my mind right now.  And since nobody cares about a song of the day, so neither will I, despite several going through my head these days.  See you next time!
