We put up these walls to distance ourselves from the world outside and when we put those walls down, we start to fall with them.
We spend so much time lonely and alone, that once we're not, we don't know how to cope. And then ... you find the right person and it doesn't matter any more. Those walls disappear and it's like you've never been held back by anything before.
Tyler Durden said that "it's only after you've lost everything that you're free to do anything," but when you have everything, you feel like you can do anything. The only difference is, you've got something to lose. But that's part of the thrill. You push yourself to succeed so you don't lose what you love.
That's why once you meet the right one, they're the only thing that matters. Let them be the center of your world. Let them be everything you ever wanted, needed, and asked for. If you care so much about somebody, it gives you something to strive for. It makes you want to be the person you can be. And sometimes, wanting to be that person makes all the difference.
