As I drove to work this morning I noticed my car loosing power. I assumed this came from being out of gas as my light had been on since the previous day. After calling around, trying to rouse someone to come and help, I finally got in touch with my sister’s husband who was kind enough to bring me some gas.

After adding gas, the car still refused to start. Jayme, my sister’s husband, is much more mechanically inclined than me so he tinkers with the engine a bit but eventually gives up. He drops me off at work only a few minutes later than usual.

My car is currently resting at an area dealer waiting for repair. They have yet to dig into the insides but seem to think it’s the fuel pump. My father mentions this will roughly cost 3-400 dollars to replace. Word from the dealer is the job will cost around 579. YIKES.

Those that know me know how desperately I long to escape the confines of Greenville. Also, if you know me, you know my debt is one of the things preventing me from moving. I recently replaced a broken monitor (bad decision) and now I have this and vehicle tax to pay by the end of the year.

If anyone sympathizes with me, appreciates what I do for the music scene (not to toot my own horn but i work hard to bring you all news on both buzzgrinders and infuzemag) please consider making a donation. I hope this doesn’t seem rude, I know there are much worthier causes. Anything you can give would be appreciated.
