(no subject)
Okay, I just came home from the diner and there was a large, ragged hunk of raw meat in the driveway with a heart attached, I wonder what animal ripped apart a deer and dropped a chunk in my yard while I was out. Good G*d, I hope we don't have a bear roaming around.
I'm calling animal control tomorrow morning to find out if there have been any bear sightings. If not, maybe they can tell me what animal could have done this to a deer.
Update
The meat is gone this morning. I have since realized that it could have been a deer hit by a car and torn apart by foxes or raccoons rather than a deer killed by a large predator. And any bears in this area should be hibernating by now.
