Dinner at the diner

I had dinner at the local diner tonight. I left rather late, trying to wait out the thunder showers that swept through the area this evening. I was all geared up and ready to jump on the bike when we had another downpour. I went back upstairs, changed into denim jeans and took the car.

I consoled myself with a bowl of their excellent house-made

One of the only three reasons I consume something made from animal flesh....

(Chicken noodle soup, french onion soup and the occasional strip of crisp fried bacon....)
