Trying to Think of What to Do

Wesley didn't really sleep that night. How could he? Cordelia actually confided in him that she was dying because of these mystical visions that she had been given. He went through every book that he could find in his apartment trying to figure out a way to keep them from killing her. Of course, just going on that idea alone left many possibilities

"Oh." He looked vaguely surprised, then glanced toward the stairs. "How's Fred?"

"She's great. Hasn't come out of her room more than twice since we brought her here. But we go visit." She smirked a little, thinking of Gunn. Some of us more than others.

"Right." He sighed softly. "I should go say hello." He smiled faintly, then headed toward the stairs.

Wesley nodded and watched as Angel went up the stairs to see Fred and (more than likely) Gunn. "So, when should I start moving in my things?" he asked Cordelia.

"Whenever you're ready," she told him, tucking some hair behind her ear. "When's your next rent do?"

[wes_the_watcher]

"Not for almost another month," Wesley said to her. "I could probably get away with one paying a little bit and some for breaking the lease, I think." Maybe I could just leave them my security deposit and leave.

"Well, then I guess it's up to you." She smiled a bit.

[wes_the_watcher]

"I think I'll go ahead and just break the lease. It will save me some trouble in the long run." Why go ahead and stay somewhere for another month when he just wanted to move, anyway?

She smiled at him. "All right. Then I guess as of today I have two roommates."

[wes_the_watcher]

"Yes, as of today, you'll have two roommates," I said. I wonder how well Dennis will take me living there. Better than I expect, I hope.
