Has the GOP finally found its Michael Dukakis? We can only hope. Sean is convinced that Huckabee will win the Republican nomination - though I still think it's way up in the air. If it were Huckabee, though, one could almost skip voting next year. The Huckster is probably the only Republican that Mike Gravel could beat.
Meanwhile, Wonkette posted the family Christmas snap from 1999. Geez - has anyone told the Rev. Huckabee that Gluttony is one of the Seven Deadly Sins? Like Lust, Gluttony is one of the sins of the flesh and, were this a truly Christian nation, Huckabee's porker spawn would be as damning as bonking his bulletin typist on the altar. And where are those enormous children now? Serving in Iraq, perhaps? Or have they got obesity exemptions?
