Beck and Boortz and Savage are all asses, true, but at least they've had the occasional original thought or idea - especially Boortz. They may be idiotic, detestable thoughts and ideas, but at least they're their own. Carlson, on the other hand, is a cipher. If he hasn't absorbed someone else's talking points, he is a vacuum. Even when he has absorbed someone else's talking points, he remains clueless. He seems to have some sort of congenital defect that prevents him from comprehending anything.

Plus, I at least don't have to look at Boortz and Savage (indeed, I don't have to listen to them either - and don't), but Carlson - and Beck - are right there in the middle of otherwise near credible news networks
