Yesterday was big 23 for me! I really wasn't anticipating it but yesterday made me realize I should be OK with getting older, I mean, it's inevitable to happen, it can only get worse from here hahaha.
It started off with a 10 AM trip to Amy's Place for some breakfast and obviously that was delish!
Later Hinkley and I went to the Sabres/Leafs game and it was a lot of fun, you could cut the tension in the building with a knife. Obviously lots of Canadians came to the gme which made for some excellent shit talking from fans on both sides. The Gaustad goal was unexpected but still a good one, i'm glad we won that game.
Afterwards we went to Merlins for a couple pints and ran into Laetita, Jenny Wilson nd Sara Miller, it was pretty cool. Other than that my birthday was just like every other day, it was real low key and I enjoyed that.
I really hope for a lot to change being 23. Life is life, but I hope this year brings good things, the year of Michael Jordan(and Drury)!
Now it is back to normal day life, today is Valentines Day, one of the worst hallmark holidays around. For those celebrating, enjoy, but this year I eat all the chocolates by myself!
