When last we left our heroes, Guriel got reassigned. Ben's response to that is to go on a bender, while Guriel goes out and relandscapes a park.

The next morning, Razas tells Ben that there's a third verse to the prophecy, which makes Ben grumpy. Ben takes Steven to the park, where he has a talk with Raph -- and Ray, who has a message from Guriel

Just out of curiosity, have you considered writing this as a novel?

That would be fun, but... they're not all my characters.

There's certainly enough here for one, though.

Ben has a novel, and a short story. So far unpublished, and they form backstory to all this. Ironically, not a single angel or demon makes an appearance in either one.

Have you looked around specficmarkets? Some of the calls might fit your Ben-centric stuff.

You guys have certainly come up with a very detailed, very interesting to read story arc. I'm impressed. If you ever need a Gabriel for something, give me a holler. :)

I am stunned at how all this has metastasized. I mean, this is the #2 post, and we're well into the #3 now. And if you see Ben at SWS, please feel free to tag any post, any time. Gabe's an immortal Archangel; he fits all the timelines with the exception of chains_of_grace. And we could use more angels who aren't Raz and Simon and Guri in takemy_love/TML, for sure. Threads for that are here, and it's got two different timelines, which confuses some people.

I use Duotrope's Digest for the short stories. The novel is more problematic as I at one point had exhausted all the agents who didn't want a synopsis. I should do that search again at agentquery. Bound to be some new ones out there.

Of course, if I was writing new material I could sell rather than letting RP eat all my creative energy, that would be a plus...

Good SLs bring all the muses to the yard. :) I will, thank you. Gabe thinks very highly of Ben. Also, if Ben ever needs to unload about his time in Afghanistan, Gabe would be happy to listen, being archangel of war, it's in his job description. Plus, he tries hard to help soldiers, past, present and future. I'll have a read of the TML stuff, that's a great premise.

Ugh, the synopsis, I feel your pain. I finally managed to get mine down to 3 pages and get a contract, so happy is me.

RP's fantastic, it's amazing how many authors who do it.
