Oath of the Gatewatch
This past weekend was the prerelease for Oath of the Gatewatch. I was excited to get my hands on the new cards and play with them. However, the store I had been frequenting the past two years is closing, or at least in some kind of limbo. So, I decided to try a store that wasn't too much farther.
For the midnight tournament, which I didn't attend, they had a decent turnout. I had to wait until Sunday afternoon to attend their next tournament. I arrive, and only three people were there for the tournament. Four were actually signed up, but one was sick. They needed eight to actually have one. I still got my cards, though. And I was happy with what I received. I even got one of the fancy expedition lands. (Kor Haven for those who are in the know.) Still, it would have been nice to try them out in the tournament.
