Some of you may not know (or care), but this past Sunday marked the retirement of an artist that has provided me with laughter, insight, and a few tears for almost my entire life. When my father and I didn't agree about anything, we could still share this man's work and enjoy it together. This past Sunday marked the last "Opus" strip ever. Berkeley Breathed has poked his pen back in the ink pot for the last time, as far as cartoons go, and a small part of my childhood died.
