I mentioned the Doctor Who showing in New York City next Monday to my husband and how great it would be to go and he said why don't we?  I almost passed out.  He said see if your brother is off Monday so he could watch the kids and put them on the school bus Tuesday morning, and we could probably go.
I never go to anything!   My brother IS off so we can go!  I can't believe it!  It's a 4 1/2 hr drive.  I think we are going down and back without staying over.  I've done longer drives by myself.  I once drove to Boston (6 hrs one way) and back in one day.
We'll see the first 2 episodes and then there is a Q and A with Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill, Alex Kingston, and Steven Moffat.  No autograph sessions but they will be there on stage.  How cool is that.  I never do anything like this!  Like I said my husband is awesome for suggesting it because he knows how much it will mean to me.  I just figured that because of the kids have school and it is 4 1/2 hrs away(gas is expensive for the minivan)  and money is tight it was out of the rhelm of possibility.   But he knows me.  I love him! 
Now how do we make Much Ado About Nothing in London work?  That aint gonna happen.
