Adding to the list of computer games I want to make: a turn-based monster-raising / battling game with strategy borrowed loosely from electrical engineering. Attacks and other moves are dependent on currents of magical energy that form between creatures, like personal ley lines. The lines and currents have attributes that correspond to resistance, amperage, voltage, etc. Strategy involves manipulating the battlefield to get the ideal position, finding the best path to transmit your attacks, heals, and buffs to the targets. Of course, fun will trump accuracy whenever there's a conflict there, but I think there's a possibility for an engaging game to come out of this.
