This week I planned, picked out, and assembled light fixtures for the living room all by myself. I'm quite proud! Dave and I installed them, and now we have three little hanging lamps above the couch. They give good reading light and match our Peruvian wall hangings. Score.

I've also learned how to poach eggs, which brings me one step closer to homemade eggs benedict. Double score.
