I've done it again!
I ruined one of my favourite knitted hoodies in the wash! It was a lovely green and blue hoodie inspired by the colours of the seaside down in Kerry and now it's shrunk to about half the size! I don't think you can even get that yarn anymore. Woe!
In good (and coincidental) news I was out last night with a bunch of girls who used to be my best friends back in my goth days. We had all drifted apart for the last few years but we've been starting to meet up again now that we're all back in the same city. It's really nice. We've all grown out of goth (me the least so as I still llisten to some of it) and are all grown up. One even has a kid! Anyway, they have railroaded me into teaching them all to knit. We're going to have a Stitch 'n Bitch which will be held at each of our flats on a revolving basis. The person hosting it has to make food and the people coming bring wine. I got no say in the matter but it's ok to be railroaded into something fun I suppose. Anyway, I've been trying to set up a Stitch 'n Bitch for years and they always fizzle out. It might work better with people I know.
Now, I'm going to have to knit a replacement for my beloved hoodie. I suppose it's not the end of the world but I still feel quite sad!
