Intriguing AU. I like the inclusion of Ethan, who definitely needed more screen-time as a character.

God, I love this. I always felt we needed more of Ethan on BtVS, and I was really looking forward to the Ripper series, because I'm sure we would have gotten more backstory on him and on his relationship with Giles when they were younger.

In the meantime, this fills the void wonderfully. :D

Definitely. More Ripper, more Ethan, possibly even canonical R/E ... it's too bad that it never got off the ground.
