This is an incredible series of stories, all so vivid and intense with emotion. You have captured the essence of the relationship between Will and Norrington, if they had ended up serving together. I do like the idea that Norrington did end up on the Dutchman, he did not seem like a man ready to cross over yet.

The last two, about the books, were the best though. Just that simple touch of humanity captures Will so perfectly. And to be able to sense what Norrington needs, excellent.

I am going to save these to memories.

While nobody in PotC is morally perfect, Will is definitely the "nice guy" of the 'verse. It's what makes him so good at his new job.

I can't believe this is the first time I've read about the idea of Norrington serving on the Dutchman -- but as mamazano already pointed out, it makes perfect sense.

These are beautiful, poignant, and I'm looking forward to reading more.
