Today
Today I stayed home sick, and i was actually sick. I had a fever, felt like shit, coughed up a small amount of flem but not much, and had a runny nose only it wasn't runny it was more chunky.
I woke up kind of on the late side because well, I could. That made me feel a little bit better, then I just ate lunch and watched gladiator. For lunch I had a homemade turkey club... nummy. Drank a bunch of juice followed by pills too.
After lunch, I got in the shower, then shaved/deoderized/oxide/did the whole get ready routine (the "Professional" one, not the monday morning school one or the saturday nite date one) and took off. After finally locating the Coroners office, I made my way in a sat there for a few minutes while my interview was in her office. She called me in and we went in and had a short chat. I worked my magic, and guess what?!? Hell ya, I got the internship! Booya baby! That's right! If you die outside the hopsital within 2 counties of my house in the month of June... I'm going to have my hands in you. There are only 3 interships over the summer, and 1 is reserved for a private college, the other 2 are open game. and I NAILED ONE! ah lol.
It doesn't pay, but who cares? It'll look great on resume's and shit like that. Not to mention the fact that I'll actually get to disect people. More details are sure to follow...especially in June. But as for now I'm sick so going to lie down.
P.S. - Trying to act healthy while barely being able to breath and having a fever inside of an italian suit jacket sucks ass.
