Bit the bullet, re-purchased the farm.

I should write a book entitled "Why tech-obsessed artists should not have credit cards." I think I am a good example. I just bought a 6x8" Intuos3. There was a nice nice academic discount, but that's still $260 for an elaborate mouse pad. I'm not even sure if my academic status will come through... but let's hope it does because I'm kind of getting pissed off at my optical mouse.

In other surprising art news, I am trying to slowly revive my deviantArt account. Yes, despite all the 5-7 times I've tried to leave dA, I am back like the Backstreet Boys in 1997. I'm all into the social network thing again, so I thought why NOT get back into the social ART network thing too?

And finally, I've mentioned this in my last post, but I'm planning on being in the Alley at Otakon, so I've got a few art ideas in the works. I'm going to assume Otakorp meant only up to 25 fan art prints can be sold, so I guess I'll plan a few "limited edition" fan art prints (I guess I'll draw some popular series out of a hat or something... I'm RIDICULOUSLY far behind on any anime watching). In addition, I've got some ideas for original works that I hope will be well-liked... but those are top secret (don't worry, I'll be babbling about them soon enough).

That's it for now.
