Today we will have something different.

This past week the most flattering thing that's ever happened to me, artistically speaking, happened. I make a habit of reading the webcomic The Flowfield Unity (http://www.flowfieldunity.transplantcomics.com), which is arguably one of the best comics on the web. It's science and humour and wonderfulness, I promise. Adam, the artist, put out a call for ideas a while back, to give something back to his readers, and I remembered my keep-myself-sane drawings from my AT journal. I thought there was a good visual pun there, so I sent them on to Adam. And he drew this:

And that's not all! He says things like this about me: "...regular Flowfield reader Roo, not content with trying to learn about the intrinsic workings of life and ecosystems and such, he’s also an artist. In fact, today’s strip was a very easy one to make, being that not only was I supplied with the idea, but also some fantastic illustrations - which I’ve added below, and unashamedly copied for the comic. I do feel a little guilty, technically I’ve done nothing... So, full credit must go to Roo. Thanks." On the internet, he says this! Weee! I disagree that he's done nothing -- Adam has given me ego-steroids, at the very least. And he's gotten my one funny idea into a place where people see and appreciate funny ideas. And he drew me a comic!

You people have no idea how big a grin this puts on my face. No idea.
