Not like anyone is paying attention to LJ anymore, so now I post for the sake of posting. Anyway...
Check out this first look at Ringside at the Revolution: An Underground Cultural History of El Paso and Juarez by David Dorado Romo. My new favorite London-based news source,
The First Post, briefly summarizes Romo's research on this topic: the U.S. Border Patrol inspired the Nazis. Definitely news to me. I hope somebody sends Romo's book to the Grand Archduke of Satan, Lou Dobbs at CNN. The photographic retrospective on Andy Warhol is also worth a look.

Love, love, love The First Post b/c they have news of the
Bollywood movie awards! Inspired me to put the Bollywood version of Othello ("Omkara") in my Netflix queue. I also now know why Dhoom 2 was all over the wires when it first came out due to Aishwarya Rai's kiss with Hrithik Roshan in the film. I even gasped at the scandalous smooch when I saw Dhoom 2 a few days ago. Naturally, there's an obscenity case pending in the Indian courts.
Not for nuthin, but I can tell you after seeing Dhoom 2, Hrithik's not only fine but he's also a good kisser. In fact, it's Hrithik doing most of the kissing while Aishwarya kinda hangs there like a cold fish. Am I right?
See the video here and judge for yourself. What bothers me more than the kiss is the fact that Aisha and Hrithik's hair have the same highlights.
