ugh, what a mess

This is very unsettling and a bit uncanny coming after watching The Constant Gardener last night and while in the middle of Cosmic Trigger. I was completely unaware of this problem. It's a good reason to avoid taking medicine when sick, but that's not going to change on a global scale anytime soon. What are the implications? I can make a bunch of guesses, based on what we are already seeing.
Sheesh, and just when i was trying to put things in perspective...silly me.
On the humorous side, I think it's kind of amusing that traces of a sex hormones was detected in SF's water... that might explain some things.
