silence consumed our time without asking
my loss of words left you still
your vauge phrases echo in my head
"You tell me" was all i ever heard from you.
the dead air was so loud, i couldnt think
or maybe my wandering thoughts couldnt find a home
unexpressed thoughts and feeling floated above our bodies.
as we laid there together,
absorbing every fragment in hidden time,
i dismissed every shameful worry.
for in that moment, time had forgotten us
and i became lost with you
