I'M GIDDIER THAN A LITTLE GIRL RIGHT NOW!!! I've told like half the universe this already, and the other half saw me jumping up and down in the halls with my girly outfit (it won't happen again, by the way)
but anyway if you're confused, here's why
Sooo many of you already know about dance slam but I'll reexplain it. A dance is chosen every year out of our spring orchesis show to perform in chicago along with companies, studios, etc. It's called dance slam. You get 5 minutes for your dance to show your shit (like a poetry slam for dancers) Ada and I's dance made it this year and performed one of the 3 nights. Already a huuuuuuuge honor. Out of the 3 nights, (20 dances each nights, so around 60 total dances), 15 are chosen to be performed in the Best Of Dance Slam that performes tomorrow night at the Athenaeum
WELLLL HOLLLY SHIITTT WE WERE FUCKIN CHOSEN!!!!! THAT'S UNBELIEVABLY INCREDIBLE!!!!!
having your work be chosen for something like this is indescribable. So yea, that's why I'm happy :)
