Genting Trip Update
Day 1: Was on the cruise Superstar Virgo. Was a pretty nice ship which I felt it's a nice place where u can spend with ur loved one for a few days. However the food may not be too nice though but since I'm not too picky with food, oh well... Anyway the whole time I was trying to control my grandma from playing the slot machine. In case u dunno, she goes ABSOLUTELY MAD when she sees slots machine. Oh yah, my grandma was on a wheelchair which I maneuvred her around and we even get through to customs first!!
Day 2: Reached Port Klang in the afternoon around 3pm. Therafter we take a coach up to Genting. Reached there 5plus in the evening and we prepared for dinner with Moses Lim. Genting was raining and it was super foggy and cold. Dinner is buffet which is so-so. Then played games and lucky draw. Can say my family wiped out alot of the prizes and it's like we are so paiseh afterwards and everyone just knew us... hahah... My father won a Palm m125 and I koped it from him... hahah... Also, my grandma won a 3D2N stay at Hotel Theme Park in Genting leh, how cool is that? Rest of the night was spent in Monte Carlo, a casino near my hotel, Hotel Resort.
Day 3: Today was bad, woke up with runny nose and it lasted the entire day... And I felt like shit the whole day. Went out to have some fun in the Outdoor Theme Park. Played on some of the rides, no kick man... The most "scary" was Space Shot, where we were sitted and shot up like 20 storeys high then suddenly dropped down at free fall. The ride is only a few seconds. No thrill at all but the foggy sight on top was memorable. Then we went to another casino and again I have to "babysit" my grandma while my sisters went to shop. This casino is very new and has slot machines of Spider-Man and X-men... COOL!!! One worthy mention was that me and my sisters went to try the flying machine. It's like a giant fan blowing below such that it simulates skydiving. The experience is fun though the entire flight was only 2min!!! This is like the high point of the day since I was sneezing most of the time. Talked to the instructor a little, he is damn good. Did alot of stunts to show us and the amazing thing is that he NEVER skydived before and all his skills are from this machine!
*side note about the flying experience* I have a thing with flying. Always wanted to know how is it like to fly. While dreaming, high up on tall towers/ mountains, even during basketball I wan to fly. During the wait for my turn to fly, I'd seen many people before me whom I thought cannot make it as they have difficulties controlling their flight. But when I tried, it just felt good. Like a lost skill that I refound. Sets me thinking of whether to take up skydiving. Maybe I was just made to fly...
In the night we went to watch Fantastica, a new-age circus. Some of the stunts were quite thrilling but maybe because I was like having flu the whole day, I kept dozing off... dying already by that time... And this Fantastica was totally un-Fantastic.
One worthy mention is that I haven't lost any money and I actually won a few bucks. heheh
Day 4: Morning went fro breakfast. After that spent a few hours in Monte Carlo again. Again I din lose any money because I kept winning what I lost... heheh... After that went back to hotal room for a brief rest then we check out and head home. The coach was rather spacious and comfy... One strange thing to mention was that when we stopped over at Yong Peng, one of the restaurants there have 4 HUMONGOUS and I DO MEAN HUMONGOUS AND GIGANTIC carps. Besides that there is nothing much for the day. Reached S'pore at 9pm plus.
