last night, after studying wayyy too much, i got in a debate with a friend about sales tax.
i said that most food is not taxed, including fruit. my friend thought i was incredibly stupid.
we looked it up online. eventually, we found some information that confirmed that most food, indeed, is not taxed. the question remained, however, of which food is not taxed. soooo... we did the most logical thing we could think of, which was to go to walmart and buy an apple (since it was at least midnight, and that was the only place to buy an apple).
we went to walmart, and picked up an apple and a few other items, and imagine the shock on my friends face when he saw the reciept!

okay, i'm done being smug. for now. time to go back to studying for finals and realize that i actually know NOTHING.
