...for everything else, there's fanfic.
Although I do wonder if at the end of the next season we're going to be writing Angry!Jack/Martha/Doctor threesomes. I'm not ruling out the possibility, if just to see if I can do it.

I also occasionally ship Jack/Rose, but again only when the Doctor's not around - though I'm toying with the possibility of a Rose/Jack pairing which excludes the Doctor. Jack/Doctor... also a possibility, in a scenario with no Rose.
So, depending what I think of Martha and whether I find her shippable, it's possible that I might write that threesome too...

Ain't that the truth!
They've written themselves into such a hole with the whole new Jack, and knowing that they're going to... I don't know what verb to use here. Address? Undo? ...is making it hard to predict what's going to happen to the character and his relationship with the Doctor. I'm sap enough to want them to at least make peace.

Oh, I agree; that's certainly what I want to happen, though the Muse seems to want to do slightly different things with Finding Judas. We'll see, though.
Probably, in my little shipper heart, I'd love Jack and the Doctor to go off travelling and fighting threats to the universe together for a century or so, as friends and lovers, until the Doctor finds a cure for Jack's little immortality problem, and then buries him finally somewhere private before finding himself another pet to help him forget this one ;) But, even Jack's anger aside, I'm very curious about what sort of dynamic Jack will have with Ten on-screen.

(But I agree: no excuse for not coming back for Jack's body).
I'm writing Finding Judas from the perspective that the Doctor doesn't know.
And, yes, there is talk about a second season of TW; JB, in a recent interview, commented that Jack doesn't get naked in this season (:P) and they're saving that for the second season.
I'd be quite happy with a cured and happier Jack choosing to stay in Torchwood and having the occasional... layover... in the TARDIS, m'self.
That'd be lovely :) Any time the Doctor's between companions ;) And maybe while he does have companions, if they're OT3able *grin*

Despite the flaws, I hope there is one. There's a lot of potential there that they're only now gearing up to show us.
