Fic rec: To Die A Thousand Deaths
I know my fic recs are mostly for fics on Teaspoon rather than LJ, but this time it's because the author hasn't posted anywhere on LJ but to his fic journal. Some of you on my flist have

So, for those of you who haven't:
To Die A Thousand Deaths, by
christn7. Jackfic, based on the scene in Utopia where he summarises his deaths to the Doctor, finishing with "And all this time you knew." Gorgeous, heartwrenching fic. Just one of many kicks in the gut: He’s resigned to it, really he is. He knows he’s allowed to die, but he’s not allowed to stay that way. He just didn’t think, when he woke up, he’d still be hungry.
ETA: Of course, now he tells me he did crosspost to a couple of comms, but the rec stands anyway :)
