“You boys are so stupid. I could bang your heads together.”
Jack blinks and catches the Doctor’s eye, asking mutely: what the hell?
The Doctor folds his arms, staring back blandly.
“Don’t you have the faintest idea how to treat a woman?”
“Never had any complaints.” Jack can’t help boasting, though it earns glares from both directions.
“Maybe fifty-first century women put up with this bolllocks, but women from my time expect better. Do you even know what date it is?”
The Doctor checks his watch, then groans. Never argue with your mother-in-law - especially when you’ve forgotten your wedding anniversary.
