Hanging up my stocking!
fandom_stocking is getting started again!
I had such fun with that last year. In total, I wrote 35 stocking-fillers - mostly drabbles, though there were a few ficlets in the mix. I don't think I posted even half of them here in the end. And I got some fantastic drabbles, ficlets and icons in return - I think most of all I loved sahiya's present: she wrote a short fic set in my TAGD-verse. So thoughtful!
If you're not familiar with it, here's how fandom_stocking works: you type out your fandom wishlist on the submission post (there's a handy template if you need it), and as medie gets to them each stocking will be created as a separate post on the comm. People can then reply to your stocking with fics, artwork, season's greetings or whatever, but it's all screened until (I think) January 6th. Stockings are tagged by fandom, too, so you can search tags to see who else wants something in fandoms you're willing to write in - I helped to fill several DW stockings last year. Because here's the great guarantee of fandom_stocking: nobody goes away empty-handed.
My wishlist is up, and I'll post again to link to my stocking when it's posted - if you want to link to your own stocking when I put up that post, go right ahead and I'll see if I can drop a little treat in it :)
