Going, going... Queensland flood auction!
Just a reminder that I'm still on the auction block to raise money for the Queensland flood disaster appeal. Bidding's currently at AUD$50, which is wonderful, but the need is great and so if anyone would like to bid higher still I'll be happy to write the corresponding fic! I am guaranteeing to write 100 words for every $1 bid, so currently I would be committed to a 5000-word fic.
A note to whoever 'wins' me: I'm away from Sunday morning until late Wednesday. The auction closes on Sunday evening. I don't know if I'll have internet while I'm away, and if I do it'll be sporadic - I'm attending a professional conference where all the delegates are staying in the same hotel, which tends to mean not a lot of free time. That means I may not be able to respond to any post-auction communication until Thursday evening. Don't think I'm ignoring you!

It's not just fic up for auction: graphics, podfic and probably other stuff as well. Go and bid on some very talented people! Or put yourself up for auction. Every dollar counts, and is much needed by those suffering as a result of the floods. The pictures and video from Brazil are horrific, and the death toll is currently at 765 and counting. As for Australia, I saw these before and after photos linked on amberfocus's journal. Awful.
