A friend asked if I'd do this one:

Give me one of my own stories, and a timestamp some time in the future after the end of the story, or some time in the past before the story started, and I'll tell you what happened then, whether it's five minutes before the story started or ten years in the future.

Well, I'm not exactly sure when or what I want... but sometime after Hall of Mirrors with Alt!Nine and Rose. *ponders* Maybe... *picks a random time* 4 months in the future. :D

Ooh! You know what I am curious about?? When Alt!Nine regenerates. Does he turn into Ten just the same? (I'd imagine so.) And how does Rose deal with that?

(Can I request two? Is that greedy of me? The one 4 months in the future and the regeneration? 'Cos I'm not sure regeneration would happen that soon - though it could - but I'd be real interested to see Rose's reaction. Have I mentioned I'm rambling because I've had a few margaritas? And should I give you the Sara Doesn't Read Whofic That Often Guilt/Pity Trip? *puppy dog eyes*)

A question first: have you read the sequel to Hall of Mirrors? Because that does cover the 'four months later' period. It begins a week after the end of Mirrors and runs up to probably close to a year after it. It's called Altered Images, and it's long as well, I'm afraid!

As for when AltNine regenerates... well, let me give that some thought and see what I come up with. It's more likely to be a summary description than a story, I think - but we'll see.

D'oh! Had a feeling you'd say there was a sequel, and I think I knew that somewhere in the back of my mind. *puts it on her reading list* I suppose, then, I should read that first before I get my regeneration story, eh? *g*
