Yamx, how recently did you give Wendy this prompt? You didn't get any ideas from this post did you? BTW, PM me your prompt and I'll get to work on it ASAP.

Well, the prompt was the first line of the fic - and I can't see anything in that post which could have inspired that.

I love how we see how the Doctor sees himself, and then how Jack sees him, and vice versa. I do love the affection that exists between these two in this 'verse. And hee, the Doctor in doublet and hose!

Thank you! I enjoyed playing with these different perceptions of themselves and each other - which, really, I could only have done in this 'verse, as there's no way Jack would have been in any way lacking confidence in his own appearance in any other!

And, yes, Nine in hose... I actually thought there was a photo out there of CE in that kind of garb, from when he played the Duke of Norfolk in Elizabeth - but although he has the period ruff the rest of the outfit is different. Shame!

This version of Nine is *definitely* on the mellow side, at least compared to canon!Nine. XD Good to see the boys having a fun night out; they're good for each other.

*grins* I like the turnaround in the perspectives here. Also, I heartily approve of Jack's ideas of both a millenium of New Years' kisses and ogling the Doctor's legs.

Thank you! That dual perspective - with each thinking the other is much more attractive - is what interested me most about writing this. And, yes, I think we could all get on board with Jack's interests here ;)
