Wow! You are so damn quick! I like it! LOL. This is a great drabble. I was thinking the same thing at the end of the ep. He really does just need someone to stop him and he knows it. God, it was heartbreaking to watch him realize that he couldn't stop himself. This piece conveyed that mood so well. I like the imagery of Donna and her life as so real and tangible and the glass separating her from the Doctor. Very well done.

Thank you! I just had to write it after that episode. I was just reminded so clearly of Donna telling him that he needed someone to stop him. I'm glad this resonated for you, and even more so that the imagery of the window worked :)

*sobs* This is just another gutpunch in the exact same spot where tonight's ep already gutpunched me...

Thank you! Yes, it was devastating - yet so very plausible.

Thank you! I'm really glad it worked for you, especially as the episode didn't quite so much.

I have nothing against dark!Ten (I love it, actually), but the execution was done poorly imho... but this one fit, as I said ^^

Perfect. I'm still reeling from that ending, and this captures part of what I found so effective about it.
